What is the Ford E-Transit?
Introduced at the end of 2021, The Ford E-Transit is “the first of two all-electric vehicles purpose-built for Ford commercial customers”. According to Ford, the electric Transit offers customers the same interior cargo dimensions and most of the same mounting points as the gasoline powered Transit van. This is great news for you, our customers! It means the glass carriers that you depend on to do your job will fit in this electric van with little to no modification to their current design.

- Long electric range: Ford claims that the E-Transit is a smart workhorse for North American cities, with the targeted range designed to adequately meet commercial customer’s needs. The range of the low roofline E-Transit is 126 miles, while the medium roof van has a range of 116 miles, and the high roofed E-Transit has a range of 108 miles.
- Extensive configuration options: The E-Transit is available in three roof heights, three body lengths, and three models- Chassis Cab, Cutaway and Cargo Van. This extensive range of options allows you to customize your van based on your needs.
- Charging benefits: The E-Transit includes an optional feature which turns the van into a mobile power source by providing up to 2.4 kilowatts to charge or power tools and equipment on the road and at job sites, eliminating the need for a generator.
