MyGlassTruck is pleased to announce that we now offer an upgraded roof rack option for our lineup of Van Glass Racks. Our new roof rack features an ergonomic, rear deploying solution for ladders on low, medium and high roof vans. This new ladder rack first appeared on the Ford Transit we took to GlassBuild 2019 and it proved to be a real hit on the show floor!
We’ve taken our existing roof rack design and mounted a completely self contained ladder rack system on top of it. The system’s integrated hydraulic cylinder provides a controlled ladder deploy and gas-assisted lift for stowing ladders up to 75lbs. An all aluminum construction with stainless steel hardware provides increased durability and years of service. Adjustable ladder support bars assure a good fit for various ladder sizes.
The ladder rack’s design allows the user to safely load and unload ladders from behind the vehicle, shielded from potential road hazards and traffic. The system’s features help protect the operator from muscle stress, strain and fatigue.
