MyGlassTruck is proud to announce that we have now exceeded over $150,000 in donations to the Susan G. Komen foundation. Since 2011, a portion of every glass rack, glass truck body, and trailer sold has been donated to the Central and South Jersey Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This funding has been complemented by awareness-raising efforts through our marketing campaigns, as well as the distribution of thousands of t-shirts, bumper stickers, and tote bags at trade shows over the years. MyGlassTruck has also earned industry recognition for its efforts, with its signature pink booth winning "Best in Show" at GlassBuild America in 2012 and 2015.
Our "Campaign to Fight Breast Cancer" launched by MyGlassTruck nearly twelve years ago aims to provide funding for breast cancer detection, treatment, and ultimately, a cure. The contribution made by MyGlassTruck is sufficient to fund nearly 1000 mammograms, thereby reducing the number of precious lives lost to cancer. MyGlassTruck remains committed to donating a percentage of every sale to Susan G. Komen Central and South Jersey as part of its ongoing support of the foundation and its mission.
Most of the funds raised by MyGlassTruck are directed towards our local chapter in southern New Jersey, to provide breast cancer screening, diagnostic, and support services to women in need. Some of the donations are also used to provide financial assistance for treatment costs for under-insured or uninsured breast cancer patients. The remaining funds are added to a national pool of funds to support prevention efforts and medical research aimed at finding a permanent cure for breast cancer.
We encourage everyone to do their part in helping this cause, whether through donations or volunteering. We would like to express our gratitude to our customers and team members for contributing to the fundraising campaign and helping make a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
